‘Academic programme’ shall mean Council on Higher Education accredited courses conducted by Regenesys Education.
‘Management development course’ shall mean management programmes conducted over a period of 1-5 days by Regenesys Education on its premises or at a client’s premise.
‘Short course’ shall mean management development courses conducted by Regenesys Education. These courses may vary in length and are counted in days.

‘Acceptance’ shall mean that the individual has provided supporting documentation, where necessary, and has paid the application fee for the course, in advance, or provided documentation such as a purchase order proving commitment to pay.
‘Roll-over/Returning Students’ shall mean a student moving from one year of tuition to the following year of tuition for the same qualification.
C. Course Applications
All applications submitted by an individual, whether for a short or for an academic course, require a fully completed and signed application form and acknowledgment of these terms and conditions. All supporting documentation as laid out in the application form must be provided. No application by an individual will be successfully completed until such time as the aforementioned documentation is received, accepted, and processed.
An application does not constitute the full registration for a course. An application will only be registered once the full payment and supporting documentation (where necessary) have been received or the payment terms agreement has been signed, and all entrance requirements have been met. By signing these terms and conditions, the individual agrees and consents to same.
D. Application Fee*
A non-refundable application fee of R2 015.00 .00 (two thousand and fifteen Rand) is payable by the individual to Regenesys, in order for an application to be processed (“the Application Fee”). The Application Fee is used to cover the costs of ensuring that the individual meets the minimum requirements of entry into the specific course/programme and/or qualification. This amount is subject to change as the discretion of Regenesys.
In the event that the individual pays the non-refundable Application Fee as set out herein, and elects to cancel the process thereafter (whether fully registered and enrolled or not), the individual accepts, understands, agrees and consents that the Application Fee will not be refunded.
In the event that the individual pays the non-refundable Application Fee, and the individual does not meet the minimum requirements after Regenesys attends to the checks as a prerequisite, the Application Fee will still not be refunded to the individual.
Regenesys reserves the right and absolute discretion to amend the application fee from time-to-time without notice to the individual. In the event that the aforesaid application fee is amended, same will be included in the updated terms and conditions.
E. Regenesys Management Admissions Test (“RMAT”)
Individuals who are seeking to study Master of Business Administration (MBA), International, and Recognition of Prior Learning (“RPL”) are required to complete our RMAT test for an additional fee of R300.00 (three hundred Rand) (“the RMAT Test Fee”). Regenesys reserves the right and absolute discretion to amend the RMAT Test Fee, from time-to-time, and without notice to the individual, and same will be included in the updated terms and conditions.
RPL students are also required to pay an additional R900.00 (nine hundred Rand) for the Recognition of Prior Learning process. In this regard, specific terms and conditions apply and it is the responsibility of the individual to engage Regenesys on the specific terms and conditions which are applicable to the RPL process.
F. Administration Fee*
For every qualification enrolled, the student will be required to register for each calendar year and select the relevant modules to be taken during that calendar year. This facilitates better planning for tuition demands and services required.
An annual administration fee, also referred to as the Academic Advancement Fee, of R1,050.00 (one thousand and fifty rand) will be charged to the student for each respective academic year of the qualification.
The roll-over fee is payable upfront as part of the Academic Advancement process and must be paid via the Student Enrolment System (EMS) during the enrolment process.
G. Payment of Study Fees
Regenesys offers various payment options to its students, in order to assist the students in payment of their qualification. Below is a breakdown of the various payment options available to students for the academic programmes:
- Monthly instalment (by compulsory debit order and/or DebiCheck)
In the event that the individual elects to make payment of their studies via a monthly instalment debit order or DebiCheckinstalment, the following is important for the individual to know and understand, namely that the individual will be required to:
- provide Regenesys with a copy of the application form, duly completed in all respects; and
- provide Regenesys with a copy of these terms and conditions, duly initialed and signed by the individual, confirming their intention to be bound by same; and
- make payment of the Application Fee, and provide Regenesys with proof thereof; and
- make payment of the Commitment Fee; and
- a signed debit order mandate subject to Regenesys’ vetting process.
In the event that a payment is returned by the bank, the student will be required to ensure payment is made directly to Regenesys, within 5 (five) calendar days of being informed thereof. Should a student fail to make the necessary payment, their studies will be suspended.
In the event that a student’s monthly debit order is returned by the bank on two or more occasions, the following will occur:
- the student’s studies may be suspended, pending the finalisation of new paperwork in relation to a new DebiCheck mandate; and
- the monthly payment arrangement as contemplated herein will be forfeited.
This will occur even in the event that the student nevertheless makes direct payment to Regenesys within the 5 (five) day period. Additionally, the student will also be required to pay in advance for each module attended.
A student will also be charged any fees or costs incurred by Regenesys (as the case may be) for any debit order which is returned, and such fee or charges will be allocated to the student’s statement of account.
An option for extended monthly payment is available to students, however same is subject to approval by Regenesys, after successfully completing the process and subject to credit vetting.
- Per semester
In the event that the student elects to make payment of their studies per semester, the semester fee is required to be received by Regenesys by no later than 5 (five) calendar days prior to the commencement of the semester.
In the event that the student fails to make payment timeously, then the student will not be allowed to attend any classes.
Should a student fail to make timeous payment of the semester fee, and nevertheless attend class, the student will be liable for the cost of the applicable tuition fees.
- Upfront
A student will be permitted to make payment of the entire cost of the qualification/programme or course in one lump sum payment. This is known as the upfront payment method.
Should a student elect to pay for their studies via an upfront payment, then the entire course fee (inclusive of the applicable Application Fee) is to be paid to Regenesys no less than 7 (seven) calendar days prior to commencement of the qualification/programme or course.
Should a student elect to proceed with their studies notwithstanding any outstanding registration payments, the student shall remain liable for all tuition fees incurred, irrespective of whether an upfront fee has been paid.
- Annual
A student will be permitted to make payment for the entire year of the qualification/programme or course as one payment. This is known as the annual payment.
Should a student elect to pay their studies via an annual payment, then the entire annual cost of the qualification/programme or course (inclusive of the applicable Application Fee ) is to be paid to Regenesys no less than 7 (seven) calendar days prior to commencement of the qualification/programme or course. Regenesys reserves the right to amend the aforesaid time period, and which amendment will be included in the updated terms and conditions.
Should a student elect to proceed with their studies notwithstanding any outstanding registration payments, the student shall remain liable for all tuition fees incurred, irrespective of whether an upfront fee has been paid.
- Loan granted through a recognised financial institution
Should an individual elect to take out a loan from a financial institution within South Africa, the individual is required to inform Regenesys of same in order for Regenesys to assist the individual with the process, and facilitate the necessary forms and contact details, limited to certain specific financial institutions.
It is important for the individual to know and understand that in the event that the individual elects to fund their studies via an approved loan, the funds are to be received by Regenesys no less than 7 (seven) calendar days prior to commencement of the qualification/programme or course.
- Study Loan
An individual may also elect to take out a student loan from Regenesys or a designated provider of such loans. In this regard, the individual is required to meet certain criteria and eligibility requirements, and is subject to credit vetting processes and procedures.
In the event that the individual wishes to engage more in relation to the student loan with Regenesys, the individual is required to engage their Regenesys representative who will provide further information.
It is also important to understand and note that the granting of a student loan to a student does not result in automatic admission by the student, to Regenesys. Similarly, it is also important to note and understand that the acceptance of a student to Regenesys does automatically result in the granting of a study loan to that student.
IMPORTANT:
The individual/student knows, understands, accepts and consents that any and all access to their learning management system shall be blocked should the student’s fees not be received by Regenesys, or that same were not paid timeously as per these terms and conditions.
Should any money due by the student or the signatory/ies under his/her contract with Regenesys not be paid by the due date, the student may be excluded from:
- Attending further lectures; and/or
- Submitting assessments (assignments and exams); and/or
- Accessing the campus and all other facilities; and/or
- Receiving assessment results; and/or
- Graduation until such time as all monies due have been paid in full.
The above is without prejudice to any other rights which Regenesys may have against the student and/or the signatory/ies under his/her contract with Regenesys, which Regenesys retains in law.
Exclusion as set above will not relieve the student and/or signatory/ies of any obligation to pay the monies which are due and payable to Regenesys.
The student and/or signatory/ies are, and will remain, liable for any and all expenses incurred by Regenesys as a result of any breach of his/her/their part of their contract with Regenesys and acknowledge/s that this may include legal costs, tracing costs and collection costs (inclusive of collection commission, where applicable).
In order for a student to graduate, any and all fees which are due, owing and payable to Regenesys will need to be settled in full, prior to graduation.
Under no circumstances will the student receive a certificate of completion/degree in the event that any monies are owed to Regenesys.
No student will be invited to the graduation event until such a time as their account is settled.
H. Revised Fees to Applicable Year’s Rate
Tuition will be charged at fees applicable to the current year’s rate. For delayed, deferred, and repeat modules, a top-up fee will be levied per module to cover the shortfall between originally paid fees and the applicable rate when the student actually does the module.
This will only be applicable on studies and courses.
Regenesys reserves the sole and absolute right to increase the tuition fees by a percentage deemed reasonable and appropriate, by Regenesys. In this regard, and as an absolute minimum, Regenesys will increase the applicable tuition fee by no less than 6% (six percent) year on year. By signing these terms and conditions, the individual thus accepts and consents to the annual increase being applied by Regenesys, and agrees to be bound by same, and make payment of the applicable increase as and when required.
I. Cancellation and Postponement
Regenesys reserves the right to postpone or cancel the offering of a scheduled qualification for any reason whatsoever, including (but not limited to)insufficient enrolment numbers. Any registered student which is impacted by a postponement or cancellation of the offering may be provided with an alternative course, or an alternative course date.
Any and all fees or monies paid by the individual to Regenesys, including, but not limited to, the amount remitted towards the application fee, admission or any programme/module/course related components, shall be deemed irrevocable, non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-transferable, and unconditionally binding upon payment.
Under no circumstances will any request for cancellation, refund (subject to the provisions below), deferment, or transfer be entertained, irrespective of whether the course has commenced, is ongoing, or yet to commence. The individual and/or student understands that the reason for this is due to the costs incurred by Regenesys in, amongst others, securing the availability of lecturers, appropriate study material, and matters incidental thereto. By signing these terms and conditions, the individual and/or student understands this provision and agrees and consents to be bound by same.
Students are deemed to have accepted full and unconditional financial liability for all the programme/module/course fees upon enrolment.
The entire fee shall become immediately due and payable, irrespective of attendance, access to course content, academic performance, or withdrawal from the programme/module/course.
The individual and/or student understands and agrees that attending class is their responsibility and no refund will be provided on the basis that the student did not attend any classes or access the Learning Management System. Given that access to the services is provided by Regenesys, the student will nevertheless be liable for payment thereof, regardless of whether or not the student used the services provided by Regenesys.
No refunds, fee waivers, or deferments shall be granted, except in strictly defined and highly exceptional cases, such as a life-threatening illness, terminal medical condition, or permanent incapacitation, which directly affects the student and which renders continued participation impossible. In such cases:
- the student is to log onto their Learning Management System and complete the ACR form online, whereby the student will click “submit” and it will be automatically sent to the relevant departmentt. The student is to ensure that the completed ACR form is submitted within five (5) calendar days from the date the condition became known to the student. In the event that the student is unable to gain access to their Learning Management System as a result of the condition, any person may engage Regenesys on the student’s behalf, but Regenesys will be required to attend to certain due diligence to ensure that the student is protected at all times;
- The submission of the ACR form must be supported by comprehensive, original, and verifiable medical documentation issued by a registered medical practitioner;
- Regenesys reserves the exclusive and absolute right to assess the request and determine, at its sole discretion, whether any concession such as a partial refund, credit, or deferment may be granted. In this regard, Regenesys’ decision is final.
- Written confirmation of cancellation will be issued to the student. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure acknowledgement of receipt of the cancellation request.
No request shall be considered in the absence of complete, original, and valid supporting documentation. Incomplete, unverifiable, fraudulent submissions shall be automatically rejected without further correspondence, and the student thus runs the risk of not submitting the relevant documentation timeously.
All decisions by Regenesys in respect of cancellations, refunds, or deferments shall be final, non-negotiable, and not subject to reconsideration, dispute, or challenge through any forum.
Given that each case will be judged on its own merits, and in line with these terms and conditions, any potential exception granted to any individual and/or student shall be treated as an isolated, discretionary act and shall not constitute a binding precedent, entitlement, or create any legitimate expectation of similar treatment in future cases.
By signing these terms and conditions, the student expressly confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the above terms in full. Ignorance, disagreement, or misinterpretation of these terms after registration shall not exempt the student from their financial obligations to Regenesys.
J. Commitment Fee
The individual knows and understands that in order to be successfully and finally enrolled for a course/programme/qualification at Regenesys, they need to make payment of the Commitment Fee (in addition to the Application Fee), payment of the first instalment and any other applicable fees).
In this regard, the individual is required to make payment of the amount which is stipulated on the Commitment Fee Breakdown document. This payment will secure the individuals application to Regenesys.
The Commitment Fee is not a deposit for services to be rendered and is not a credit which will be available to the student to off-set any payments missed. The student will not be permitted to “draw down” on the Commitment Fee which is paid to Regenesys.
It is agreed, accepted and understood that payment of the commitment fee will result iin reductionof the monthly instalments payableto Regenesys in terms of the qualification/course/programme
Additionally, as with the Application Fee, the Commitment Fee is non-refundable.

Regenesys reserves the right to postpone or cancel a scheduled course. Registered applicants will be provided with an alternative course date or offered a refund of course fees.

In this regard, Regenesys also reserves the right to proceed with potential civil and/or criminal charges against the individual and/or student.
Under no circumstances will any monies be refunded to an individual and/or student who requests same once it is established, on a prima facie basis, that the student committed (or is reasonably suspected of committing) fraud, deception, misrepresentation or the like, during the application process.
P. Consent Clauses and Legal

Regenesys reserves the right to appoint an agent to collect outstanding monies on their behalf and to institute legal proceedings against the applicant for the recovery of any monies outstanding as a result of default in payment, and in such event the individual/student acknowledges that they shall be liable for any and all legal costs incurred by Regenesys in the collection of the outstanding balance on the scale as between attorney or debt collectors and client, including collection commission on capital, interest, and costs, as well as the tracing and administrative costs incurred by the appointed agent for the recovery of any amounts owing.
Method of communication
By default, the individual/student hereby chooses WhatsApp as the regular communication method for all accounts and notices for services supplied. In the event that the individual/student does not wish to receive communication regarding their accounts and/or notices via e-mail, the individual/student will then be contacted by email, SMS, or regular post as the communication method for all accounts and notices for services supplied.
Tracing of individual/student
The individual/student consents to Regenesys using various tracing agencies, including (but not limited to) a national credit database for tracing purposes should the individual/student abscond or become otherwise untraceable.
Credit Information
The individual/student consents to Regenesys being entitled to obtain credit and related information concerning the individual/student at any time and to exchange or lodge and/or disclose such information with any credit bureau without any further notice to the applicant/undersigned.
Q. Liability Disclaimer
Neither Regenesys Education (Pty) Ltd nor any of its directors, subsidiaries, suppliers, employees, or agents will be held liable in any manner whatsoever for accidents, illness, losses, or damage to private property of whatever nature either in South Africa or abroad, of any student.
Regenesys Education (Pty) Ltd takes the integrity and professionalism of its employees seriously and strives to ensure that all staff conduct themselves in accordance with company policies and ethical standards. However, Regenesys Education (Pty) Ltd shall not be held liable or responsible for any unauthorised actions, representations, or conduct of its employees, contractors, or agents that fall outside the scope of their official duties or that are contrary to company policy.
In particular, Regenesys shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense suffered by any individual as a result of providing money, gifts, or any form of payment directly to an employee, contractor, or agent without the prior written authorisation of Regenesys. Any such transactions are deemed to be conducted at the individual’s own risk, and Regenesys disclaims all responsibility for any resulting financial or personal loss.
Any person who becomes aware of an employee or representative of Regenesys requesting or accepting unauthorised payments should immediately report the incident to a manager or authorised official of Regenesys, who will take appropriate disciplinary and legal action (if necessary) against any employee found to have engaged in such unauthorised conduct.
Fraud prevention and amendment of official Regenesys Bank Account
Regenesys’ official bank account details for payment of fees are as set out in the individual/student’s statement of account, invoice and can be accessed via the student’s Learning Management System.
Regenesys will not change their official accounts without prior notice communicated through its official channels, which will include communication to the student via their designated student Learning Management System, and which will be confirmed by the Finance Department.
Regenesys will never communicate a change to its banking details by email alone. Before making any payment following a communication that purports to change the official bank account, the individual/student must independently verify that change telephonically, using a number obtained from Regenesys’ official website or a prior, trusted communication — and not a number provided in the communication proposing the change. The individual/student must satisfy themselves, before making any payment, that they are paying into the official bank account of Regenesys.
Regenesys accepts no liability for any payment made to an account that is not the official bank account of Regenesys, including where that account was represented to the individual/student as belonging to Regenesys through a fraudulent, spoofed, or unauthorised communication, save to the extent such loss arises directly from Regenesys’ own gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
The individual/student’s payment obligation to Regenesys is only discharged on actual receipt of the relevant funds into the official bank account. A payment made to any other account does not discharge the obligation to pay Regenesys, without prejudice to any claim you may separately have against the party responsible for the fraud. Any and all funds received and paid to Regenesys which contain the correct reference number will be allocated to the correct corresponding account. It is incumbent on the student to ensure that their statement of account correctly records the payments which have been made.
In the event that the individual/student receives any communication that appears to change Regenesys’ banking details, or that the individual/student otherwise suspect may be fraudulent, do not act on it — report it immediately to the Finance Manager, prior to making any payment.
R. Firearms and Weapons
Firearms and anything that can be considered as a weapon (including anything which can injure another person) are prohibited on the Regenesys campus.
S. Consent to Information
Regenesys periodically sends out information to advise all students and/or individuals of new developments, programs, and events that might be of interest or relevance to their personal development and career advancement. Any student or participant who wishes to stop receiving any such communication from Regenesys is requested to indicate this by opting out or by sending an email to this effect, to info@regenesys.net
T. Regenesys Modes of Learning
In order to make learning accessible to all Regenesys students irrespective of their location, Regenesys is constantly investing in e-learning resources. This involves the recording of live classes and events for livestreaming and distribution through downloadable video files on Regenesys websites, including student Learning Management System. In this way, Regenesys students have different options to benefit from lectures whether they are able to attend classes or not. Regenesys may also use recorded material for demonstration or promotion of its activities or depicted events to future audiences. As a result of the modes of learning adopted by Regenesys, by signing these terms and conditions, the individual hereby consents to being filmed for live streaming or recording purposes.
U. Updates and amendments to Terms and Conditions
Regenesys reserves the right to update these terms and conditions from time to time. Current terms and conditions are published on Regenesys’ website and may be viewed at www.regenesys.net/terms-and-conditions
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the individual/student and Regenesys relating to the individual/student’s enrolment and studies at Regenesys, and supersede any prior discussion, representation, or undertaking, whether written or verbal, made to the individual/student before being accepted.
No employee, sales agent, recruitment representative, or other person acting or purporting to act on behalf of Regenesys has authority to vary, waive, or contradict any provision of these terms and conditions, whether verbally or otherwise, and no such variation, waiver, or contradictory undertaking is binding on Regenesys.
In the event that any information or undertaking has been provided to the individual/student, which is at difference with the terms and conditions as contained herein, it is incumbent upon the individual/student to immediately request same the information, in writing, and then immediately inform Regenesys of the difference at the following e-mail address: compliance@regenesys.net.
It is important that the individual/student does not act on the difference of the information supplied to them, as same will merely constitute an unconfirmed verbal statement, and not an amendment of these terms and conditions.
A variation of these terms and conditions is valid and binding on Regenesys only if it is recorded in writing and signed by the Registrar of Regenesys, and the individual/student.
Nothing in this clause limits Regenesys’ liability for a fraudulent misrepresentation made to the individual/student or excludes any right which the individual/student may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
